So even if the rest of your face is free from wrinkles and still has a fresh and youthful outlook, thinning eyebrows can cause an old-looking face. This is true for both men and women.
What Is An Eyebrow Transplantation?
Eyebrow transplantation is one of the most aesthetically challenging operation to perform, but when it is done by professionals, it can bring about an impressive result. Before the actual operation takes place, the patient is given local anesthesia. During the operation FUE or DHI techniques are implemented. The most difficult part of an eyebrow operation is to give the right angle and direction to the grafts as well as the aesthetic designing of what should be natural appearing eyebrows that complement the rest of the patient’s facial features. The operation involves removing tiny individual hair follicles from the back of the scalp where the hair is very thick. The grafts are removed from the back of the head which is also called the donor area and then transplanted into the parts of the eyebrow line that is bald or have less hair density. When the whole operation is completed, the hair in the eyebrow area will begin to grow immediately.
The whole operation will take between 2 to 4 hours. The reason as to why it takes this amount of time is due to the fact that each individual hair must be extracted very very carefully and precisely implanted onto the eyebrow. The total recovery time for this procedure takes about a week yet, however, you can return to work immediately three days after the procedure.
